About
Horfield United play in the Bristol and District league, the team actually started life as Impact Squad FC in 2005. It was initilaly setup as a student team from the local University – UWE in Bristol. The team is now in it’s 5th season of the Bristol and District League.
At the start of the 2009- 2010 season it changed it name to Horfield United FC. The initial team came from the original sponsor Urban Impact who sponsored the shirts. Now the team is associated to the Hobgoblin Pub on Gloucester Road. The name Horfield United comes from Muller Road Park where the home pitch is. It is situated in the Horfield region of Bristol.
Yearly History
2005 – 06
- Started out in Division 6 as a a new team. Ended up finishing 10th.
2006 – 07
- Finished 4th in Division 6 and was promoted.
- Reached semi-final of county cup
2007 – 08
- Champions of the Division 5 and promoted to Division 4
2008 – 09
- Finished equal third in Division 4 but was in 4th place due to goal difference and was not promoted.
